Student Art work and Projects
I am always looking to create, develop and teach art projects which excite and push my students to explore and experiment with different techniques and mediums. I think outside of the box and always strive to create unique and original lessons. When I was teaching short art courses in adult education centres I always had conversations with my students who were, mostly of retirement age and there were many of them who had horrible experiences with their art teachers in school and were put off for mostly of their adult life. I know as an art teacher of middle school I have the power to create experiences for my students that could either put them off art or create experiences where they have freedom and joy through creating art. This is always at the forefront of my mind when planning my projects and coming up with new, fresh ideas.
